Creating my debut comic, Storme!, was a labor of love inspired by my passion for keeping queer history alive and accessible to future generations-- especially the less picture-perfect, respectable, and palatable parts of our history. It was also driven by a desire to interrogate what a superhero is, what strength and courage can look like; and the difference between punching up and punching down, in a way that children could access.
