QUIET DOWN!"
To complement my comic, "Storme!," which celebrates the life of a Stonewall veteran and Drag King, I created this kinetic typography animation celebrating the powerful words of another Stonewall veteran- a Drag Queen and trans woman named Sylvia Rivera. I felt it was important to highlight the struggle at the center of the Stonewall Rebellion: resisting the criminalization and incarceration of trans, gender non-conforming, and LGB people.
